About the Author:
Aside from grandparenting and writing inspirational books, Yay teaches at Southville Foreign University in Las Piñas and holds motivational and business seminars. A graduate of University of Santo Tomas (Bachelor of Arts in Communication Arts, cum laude), she assumed various positions in marketing, advertising, construction and development, hospitality and tourism, and manufacturing companies—retiring in 1998 as vice president of one of the country’s biggest conglomerates.
Yay is married to Jack Olmedo, a professional mechanical engineer; and blessed with two children and three grandchildren: Carmela, married to Joel Atas—their children Joaquie and Charlize; and Carlo whose wife Opalyn (née Pineda) recently gave birth to Natalie Grace.
